Things That Make the Spirit of God Leave a Home

It seems like the right thing to do at the time, as divorce rates and regrets increase worldwide: And a person suddenly wounds or kills other household members or commits suicide, leaving the world wondering why. There is only one reason why these shocking things happen: It is because the Spirit of God suddenly departed from that home, or from that person’s life.1 Only then, the devil quickly enters and destroys that person and home, when the restraining Holy Spirit leaves. Never let this happen!

These Mysterious Quarrels and Conflicts!

Continuing in sin or disobedience to God’s command, separates a person from God.2 “But let Me tell you others,” the Spirit of God began to reveal: “I dislike quarrelling. When a man does not love his wife, and his response to her hard work and care are not based on love. Response to her hard work should be that of appreciation, not judgment. Strengthen this. When the wife does not honor her husband. She must! She must put her husband first above her own. This is especially important. Or else I would be swift to respond to this. A woman who does not care for her husband will suffer loss.” Continuing in these things will make the Holy Spirit suddenly leave that home.

Why God Takes Fathers Earlier

The Lord continued, “I am concerned about parenthood. When parents do not set a good example for their children, is one reason why, especially fathers, are quickly removed from the scene. It is so the children can grow freely in the environment they are in, without the forceful sometimes oppressive influence of their parents.” When God decided to create mankind, male and female, His primary intention was so they raise for Him Godly children. As God said about Abraham, “I know that he will teach his children and household to keep the way of the LORD to do what is just and righteous; so that the Lord will do for Abraham what He promised him.” Meaning that parents who do not teach their children the holy ways of God, risk grieving the Holy Spirit.

Habitual disobedience, quarreling, lack of love, bad leadership, carelessness, bad influence, and negligence to teach children God’s ways: These are things that make the Spirit of God to leave a home. Never let these happen! Therefore, turn away from these things!
